In the summer of 2021 we were still not traveling far due to the pandemic restrictions but we had a fantastic mini break to Abersoch, North Wales. We managed to time our trip with a heat wave and spent so much time swimming in the sea looking back at this view.
I spent a lot of time in Abersoch as a young adult and remember when there was a life boat station to the left of this image, now a lovely home. My husband and I had a laser 4000 at that time and friends had Hobie Cats and speed boats. To me, Abersoch is a heady place to be with friends, BBQs on the beach and lots of time in and on the water. It is so great to see our own children excited to spend their time here with friends.
