Penmon Lighthouse. Anglesey

Penmon point or Trwyn Du stares out to Puffin Island. It marks the entrance to the Menai Straights and if like me you are a sailor this is a right of navigational passage to make it through unscathed! I remember being directed through the transit points on a training voyage in 2006 with a slack tide and the sea still bubbling around the hull of the yacht. It certainly keeps you on your toes!
A good friend of mine asked me to paint this image as a special birthday present and the original now lives in their Welsh holiday home.

This is a hand signed and numbered limited edition, Giclee art print. Part of a 150 edition.
