The style and glamour of St Tropez are to me, only a fraction of what attracts me to the French Riviera. I love to get lost exploring the many hill towns where the views of the vineyards meet the sea. It has long been my favourite place to forget the world for a few days.

Saint Tropez harbour with its famous citadel is such an iconic scene. I feel it can not be mistaken for any other seaside town. To do it justice I painted this seascape in my studio. I was particularly taken with the reflections of the buildings and yachts on the water.

I painted the canvas using acrylic paint with both brush and palette knife.
